To update your max clients setting using SSH:
- Log on to your server.
- At the command line, type su - .
- Open /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf in your text editor. (We recommend "vi." At the command line, type vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf).
- Change the setting "MaxClients 10" to a larger number.
- Save and close httpd.conf.
NOTE: You must modify both max clients entries.
