Domain Registration Defaults let you expedite your shopping experience by using default settings to process your purchases. You can select your default settings for new domain registrations, such as the length for which you want to register new domains, your Auto Renew settings, and your nameserver settings. You can also specify the contact information for your purchases. When you purchase a new domain, the settings you specify in your Buyer Profile are automatically applied.

Additionally, you can create a Domain Registration Defaults to specify your preferences for completing the checkout process. You can opt to receive exclusive offers, or you can skip offers by selecting Quick Checkout.

To Create Domain Registration Defaults

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From the My Account section, click Settings.
  3. Click Domain Registration Defaults.
  4. Complete the following fields, and then click Save Profile:
    • Buyer Profile Name — Enter a name for your profile.
    • Is the Default Profile — Select if you want to make this the default profile for your purchases.

To make all of this information identical, enter your information in the Domain Contact Information section, and then select Use this information for my Technical, Administrative and Billing contacts.
    • Checkout Preferences — Select whether you want to see special offers (Show me exclusive offers) or use Quick Checkout.
