If you have recently ordered additional IP addresses for a dedicated Windows server, you must complete these steps before you can actually use the additional IP addresses.

To Bind Additional IP Addresses in Your Dedicated Windows Server

  1. Log in to Remote Desktop.
  2. Go to Control Panel->Network Connections->Local Area Connection.
  3. Right-click on Properties.
  4. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
  5. Click Properties.
  6. Click Advanced.
  7. Click Add and add the new IP, with 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask.

NOTE:IP address allocation is monitored. Attempting to add IP addresses to your server that have not been purchased is a violation of your terms of service agreement and may result in the suspension of your account.
