Go Daddy Hosting Connection is an online shared hosting community through which you can install and manage many free value applications. View the Adding Value Applications to Your Shared Hosting Account Actioncast to follow Emily, a hosting customer, as she installs a value application on her hosting account.
NOTE: We cannot provide application support after installation. For post-installation support, contact the application vendor through the Web site provided.
To Install Hosting Value Applications Through Go Daddy Hosting Connection
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products panel, select Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
- In the Content panel of the Hosting Control Center, click the Go Daddy Hosting Connection icon. Go Daddy Hosting Connection displays.
- In the category panels, click the appropriate value application.
- Click Install Now. This button appears only when a compatible hosting plan resides in your account. For a subscription application, click Subscribe Now.
- If the End User License Agreement appears, read it. Click I Agree.
- Choose the domain to modify.
- If the value application requires a database, enter a database description and password, and then click Next.
- Enter the value application installation directory. If you leave the directory blank, installation occurs in the root directory. If configuration information is required, click Next. Otherwise, click Finish.
- Enter configuration information, if required. Click Finish.
