Upgrading to a New Version of a Hosting Quick-Install Application

Upgrading is available only if the new version is compatible with your existing application.
NOTE: Before upgrading to a new version of a quick-install application, make sure to disable your plugins. Older plugins may be incompatible with the newer version of the application.
To Upgrade an Application in Your Hosting Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, select Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
- In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Go Daddy Hosting Connection icon. Go Daddy Hosting Connection displays.
- Click the See all of my applications link.
- Click the Installation details link next to the application you would like to upgrade.
- Click Install this update in the Updates section.
- Click Continue.
The selected application will be upgraded. You will receive an email once the upgrade is complete.
NOTE: It is possible to restore your application to its previous version within 14 days after you upgrade.
