Changing Calendar Settings

You can set preferences to customize the behavior and appearance of your Calendar.
To Change Calendar Settings
- Log in to your Calendar account.
- Click Settings.
- Click Calendar Settings, and then update any of the following:
- Time format
- Select a 12 hour or a 24 hour calendar display.
- Date format
- Select an option for displaying dates on your calendar.
- Current time zone
- Select the Time Zone you want to use.
- Add time zones
- Select any time zones you want to add to your list.
- Expand the Set Calendar Format options, and then update any of the following:
- Day start and Day end
- Select the start time and end time for your calendar.
- Show recently completed tasks for
- Specify the number of days you want to show events and tasks for.
- Start week on
- Select a day to display as the beginning of your week.
- Theme
- Select a color theme for your calendar display.
- Preferred default view
- Select the calendar view you want to see when you log on to your account.
- Show resource calendars
- Allow users to view a resource calendar.
- Expand the Set Default Options for Invitations options, and then update any of the following:
- Send invitations to attendees
- Specify when to send invitations to attendees.
- Notify attendees when uninvited
- Specify when to notify attendees that they were uninvited from an event.
- Notify attendees of event updates
- Specify when to notify attendees of event changes.
- Automatically allow attendees to invite other users
- Allows you to set this option as the default for scheduling events.
- Expand the Set Default Options for Reminders options, and then update any of the following:
- Send me a reminder
- Set the default value for reminding users of an event, and then specify the number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks before the event to send the reminder.
- Send reminders to
- Enter the email address to which you want to send event reminders.
- Format event reminders for text messaging
- Send the reminder as a text message to your cell phone.
- Click Save.
