For security reasons, there is no default user configured for Tomcat web administration, but you can create a Tomcat user.
To Create a Tomcat User
- Log into Simple Control Panel. For more information as to how to do this, see How do I access my Dedicated Server using Simple Control Panel?
- Using SSH, connect to your server as "root".
- Access the Tomcat installation directory (currently: /usr/java/tomcat-5.5.9).
- Edit conf/tomcat-users.xml.
- Add an entry by changing the user name and password as appropriate.
- For the changes to take effect, you may need to restart the Tomcat service.
