Setting Discussion Options in Quick Blogcast

You can specify how you approve comments and which types of content visitors can post to your Quick Blogcast® website with discussion options. Here's how:

To Set Discussion Options

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Quick Blogcast.
  3. Click Launch for the account you want to modify.
  4. From the Blog tab, go to Manage Blog and click Settings.
  5. Go to the Discussions tab.
  6. You can select the following options:
    • Allow HTML in Comments — Lets visitors use HTML in their comments.
    • Email New Comments — Notifies you by email when visitors submit comments.
    • Email New Trackbacks — Notifies you by email when users add trackbacks to your blog posts.
    • Moderate All Comments — Lets you approve comments before they are public.
    • Moderate All Trackbacks — Lets you moderate trackbacks by approving them before they display in posts.
    • Allow Anonymous Comments — Lets users leave comments anonymously.
    • Enable Comment Paging — Limits the number of comment threads that display on each page, and lets you specify the # of comment threads per page.
    • Enable Emoticons — Replaces typed characters representing expressions or emotions with images.
    • View Comments As — Lists comments by thread or in a list.
  7. Click Apply.
