Moving Directories Using the FTP File Manager

The Hosting Control Center's File Manager is your hub for managing your site's files and directories. Use this procedure to move a directory or file from one location to another.
To Move Directories Using the FTP File Manager
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
- From the Content menu, select FTP File Manager.
- On the left, select the directory or file you want to move, and then click the Move button.
- On the left, select the directory or file you want to move it to.
NOTE: The new directory displays as Destination selected.
- Click OK to confirm the move.
NOTE: If a directory or file of the same name resides in the new location, you'll be prompted to overwrite the existing directory and its contents.
