Opening Online File Folder as a Web Folder (WebDAV)

Web Folders (WebDAV) let you access your Online File Folder® account through Microsoft Windows Explorer®. You can move files from your computer to Online File Folder, and manage files in your Online File Folder account directly within Windows without accessing Online File Folder's web-based interface.

To Open Online File Folder as a Web Folder

  1. Right-click on the Start button, and select Explore.
  2. In the Folders list, click My Network Places.
  3. Click Add a network place.
  4. In the Add Network Place Wizard window, click Next.
  5. Select Choose another network location, and then click Next.
  6. In the Internet or network address field, type https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/webdav/index.php/your_user_name/, where your_user_name is the user name for your Online File Folder account, and then click Next.
  7. Enter your Online File Folder user name and password, and then click OK.
  8. In the Type a name for this network place field, enter the name you want to use to identify this folder, and then click Next.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. If prompted, enter your Online File Folder user name and password to access the folder.

To access Online File Folder as a Web Folder by going to My Network Places in Windows Explorer, and double-click the location you created in the steps above.
