If you are hosting a second domain in your hosting account, you can easily upload files to it via FTP, a method of transferring your Web site from your local computer to your hosting account. In your main domain directory, the secondary domain displays as a content directory or folder.

For instance, you might have the main domain "coolexample.com" and be hosting "anotherexample.com" as a secondary domain. You must create a content directory for the secondary domain off the hosting account root. In this case, you might name this secondary directory "/another."

When selecting the upload location in your FTP client, you must specify the secondary domain directory as the destination. In this case the directory path for that secondary domain is actually, "coolexample.com/another." However, visitors can view the secondary site directly at "www.anotherexample.com."
