Forwarding Your Domain to Another URL
You can forward your parked domain to an existing Web site. When visitors go to the domain you forwarded, their Web browser automatically forwards them to the URL you specified.
For your domain to resolve to the forwarding address correctly, the A Record for your domain must point to 64.202.189.170. If your domain is currently on Parked nameservers, your A Record resolves to the correct IP Address automatically. If your domain is currently hosted on Hosting or Custom nameservers, you must update your A Record. For more information on updating your A Record, see Using the Forwarding IP Address.
For example, you own onecoolexample.com and want people who visit it to be redirected to coolexample.net.
NOTE: You can only forward parked domains using this procedure, which we automatically park when you register them with us. For more information about parking domains, see Setting Nameservers for Your Domain.
You can also add masking to your forwarded domains, which prevents the forwarded domain URL from displaying in the browser's address bar. If you set up masking, you specify a title and meta tags to assist with ranking your Web site on search engines. For more information about masking domains, see Masking Your Domain.
NOTE: You can enable Forwarding for your Domain from the Product Dashboard, or the Domain Manager. To set nameservers on the Dashboard log in to your Account Manager, and select the Domains tab. Click the Domain you want to forward, and then click Forwarding.
