Integrating Quick Shopping Cart with WebSite Tonight

You can use matching templates for Quick Shopping Cart® and WebSite Tonight®. By applying the same template to both applications, you can maintain a personalized website in WebSite Tonight and have a matching e-commerce site with Quick Shopping Cart, giving your customers a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.

When you integrate your Quick Shopping Cart and WebSite Tonight accounts, you can select matching templates for the applications. Then by editing your website's navigation to display a link to your online store, you let customers easily jump between your Quick Shopping Cart and WebSite Tonight sites.

Changing Your WebSite Tonight Template

If you associate more than one site builder with your domain, you can use the same template for each one. Note which template you use for WebSite Tonight, so you can apply it to Quick Shopping Cart.

To Change Your Template

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. Click the Templates tab. The Template window displays.
  3. Optional: From the Preview menu, select the site builder you want to preview with the new template.
  4. Optional: From the Sort menu, select Date to view recently created templates. Select Name to view templates in alphabetical order.
  5. From the Template Gallery tab, hover your mouse over the template you want. The Apply Template menu displays.
  6. Select the WebSite Tonight, and then click Apply.
  7. Note the template you selected.

NOTE: You must publish your website for changes to display live on the Internet.

Linking Quick Shopping Cart to WebSite Tonight

After selecting a WebSite Tonight template, you can customize your navigation to allow customers to more easily move between your website and your storefront.

To Link Quick Shopping Cart to WebSite Tonight

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. From the Add-Ons menu, select Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. From the Choose Quick Shopping Cart Account list, select the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to associate with your WebSite Tonight account.
  4. In the Navigation button title... field, enter the text you want to display on the navigation button that links to your Quick Shopping Cart site.

    NOTE:"Online Store" displays by default. If you want to change the text, you can highlight and delete the existing text, then add your own.

  5. Click OK.

NOTE: You must publish your website for changes to display live on the Internet.

Changing Your Quick Shopping Cart Template

To Change Your Template

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, click Quick Shopping Cart.
  3. On the Quick Shopping Cart page, click Launch next to the Quick Shopping Cart account you want to modify.
  4. Click the Templates tab. The Template window displays.
  5. Optional: From the Preview menu, select the site builder you want to preview with the new template.
  6. Optional: From the Sort menu, select Date to view recently created templates. Select Name to view templates in alphabetical order.
  7. From the Template Gallery tab, hover your mouse over the template you applied to WebSite Tonight. The Apply Template menu displays.
  8. Select Quick Shopping Cart, and then click Apply.

    9. NOTE: You must publish your storefront for changes to display live on the Internet.
