Adding Notes to a Contact Record

You can add notes to a contact's record to remind you of events or preferences specific to that contact.

To Add a Note

  1. Log in to your Contact Manager.
  2. Click Contacts on the navigation bar.
  3. Click on the row of the contact you want to edit.
  4. Click Add Note.
  5. On the New Note page, select the Note Type.
  6. In the Note Description box, enter the note details.
  7. Click Save or, to attach a file, click Save and Add Attachment.

NOTE: There are various types of personal information that should never be stored in the Bulletins/Notes sections, including birth dates, social security numbers, driver's license numbers, credit card numbers, information about minor children and health information.
