Custom Animated Header
What size can my Custom Animated Header be?
The maximum size is 1000x300 pixels. If you are adding a Custom Animated Header to a new or existing Dream Web site, our designers will ensure that the header fits your website. If you are purchasing a Custom Animated Header for any other website, you will need to provide the size requirements to your designer.
How do I know what animation I would like?
What elements are animated is a personal preference. If you are unsure, your designer can make suggestions to assist you.
Can I use a Custom Animated Header in my WebSite Tonight® account?
WebSite Tonight will support a Flash® (.swf) file as the header image; however, only select templates offer the appropriate header style. If you have a site that is using a different template, you will need to change your template to accommodate the header. Our design experts can provide you with template options, and then create a header that will fit the new template.

Can I use a Custom Animated Header in a website I created?
Yes, you can provide dimensions to your designer (with in 1000x300 pixels) and they will create a header that will your site. After final approval, you will receive the .swf animated Flash file, digitally delivered. Installing the header into your site will be you or your web designer's responsibility.
Can I submit images to incorporate in my Custom Animated Header?
If you have images that you would like us to incorporate when designing your Custom Animated Header, you must provide high quality images in the form of 300 D.P.I. jpg files. You can submit your images using the Design Manager. For more information, see How do I send files to the design specialist?.
What content do I need to provide for the creation of my Custom Animated Header?
You will need to provide your text, and if applicable, a logo and/or graphics. Your logo should be in a vector format, preferably in an .eps or .pdf format and not in a .jpg format. If you do not have a preferred format, we can use text for your company name, or you can purchase a logo redraw or logo design service.
Will you install the Custom Animated Header for me?
If you have purchased a Custom Animated Header as an add on to a Dream website design, we will install the header for you.
If you have purchased a Custom Animated Header for a WebSite Tonight or other website not created by the Dream Web Site Team, we will provide the final .swf file to you, and you will be responsible for installing the header.
What files will I receive?
After approval, you will be given the final .swf animated Flash file, digitally delivered.
