Populating a Distribution List for Your Outlook 2007 Exchange Email Account

You can populate a distribution list with your Hosted Exchange email account using Outlook 2007®. Distribution lists allow you to easily manage contact details, and send messages to multiple contacts at once.

NOTE: Before you can populate a distribution list in Outlook, you need to create it in the Hosted Exchange email control panel. For more information, see Managing Your Hosted Exchange email Distribution Lists.

To Populate a Distribution List

  1. Open the address book in your Outlook 2007 account.
  2. From the Address Type list, select Global Address List.
  3. Double-click your distribution list name.
  4. Click the Modify Members button, and then click Add.
  5. From the Address Type list, select Global Address List.
  6. Double-click each contact you want to add to the distribution list.
  7. Click OK.
