Managing Un-Moderated Commenters in Quick Blogcast

If you moderate your blog's comments in Quick Blogcast®, you can let certain individuals comment without requiring moderation. Use this feature if you have a repeat commenter you trust to be un-moderated.

When un-moderated commenters makes a comment, their comments display immediately on your blog.

NOTE: This feature is not available with Free Quick Blogcast Accounts.

To Check Your Comment Moderation Settings

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Quick Blogcast.
  3. Click Launch for the account you want to modify.
  4. From Blog tab, go to Manage Blog and click Settings.
  5. From the Discussions tab, next to Moderate all comments, check Yes.

    NOTE: Comment moderation must be set to Yes to create an un-moderated commenter.

To Add Someone to the Un-moderated Commenter List

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Quick Blogcast.
  3. Click Launch for the account you want to modify.
  4. From the Blog tab, go to Visitor Interaction and click Manage Commenters.
  5. In the Email Address field, specify the email address for the un-moderated commenter.
  6. Click Save Commenter.

To Remove Someone from the Un-moderated Commenter List

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Quick Blogcast.
  3. Click Launch for the account you want to modify.
  4. From the Blog tab, go to Visitor Interaction and click Manage Commenters.
  5. Check the email address you want to remove.
  6. Click Delete Email Address and click OK to confirm you want to delete the un-moderated commenter.
