Selecting a Preset Backup on Your Mac

Using File Backup, you can quickly and easily back up files from your computer to your Online File Folder. There are two presets that you can select to backup your most common files in your My Documents folder and My Pictures folder.

To Select a Preset Backup

  1. Locate the OFFBackupTool folder, open it and launch offBackupTool.
  2. Double-click the folder icon from the menu bar.
  3. In the the File Backup window, click New.
  4. In the Select a Backup or Sync window, select either Documents or Pictures.

    NOTE: If you want to add both, add one and then repeat the process to add the other.

  5. Click Next.
  6. To accept the default settings for the backup, click Accept or click Customize to make changes and then click OK.
  7. If you clicked Customize you can:
    • Go to the Options tab to change the name of the backup, enter any file types to include or exclude from the backup, and enter any specific file or subfolder names to exclude.
    • Go to the Schedule tab to change the settings for when you want the backup to occur.
