About Transferring Your Domain
You can easily transfer one or more domain names to us from another registrar. For more information, see Transferring Domains to Us.
Will my site(s) experience downtime if I have other products set up elsewhere?
If you host your site, email, or other products somewhere else, you may experience downtime depending on the outgoing registrar.
NOTE: To minimize the chance of downtime for your website during the domain transfer, we recommend setting up a hosting account with us first, and then transferring your domain to us.
Do I need to update my DNS settings?
If you transfer your domain(s) to us and you are using our hosting, the nameservers are automatically updated. However if you transfer your domain to us but opt to host through another ISP or provider, you can choose to keep your existing nameservers or you may update the nameservers using our control panel. NOTE: You need to consult your hosting provider to obtain the correct nameservers settings.
