Our European data center is just like our US based data centers, it's just located in Europe! Hosting "locally" in Europe will give your European customers faster access to your Web site.

Who should consider hosting in a European data center?

Consider who is visiting your Web site. If most of your visitors are from the European region (including Northern Africa and the Middle East), your customer will greatly benefit from having your site hosted in Europe. Their access will be faster because they will be physically closer to the data center.

What if I don't want to be hosted in a European data center?

If you do not want to be hosted in our European data center, call customer Support to request U.S.-based hosting.

Can I get a dedicated or virtual dedicated server in a European data center?

Dedicated hosting is not currently available in our European data center. We recommend purchasing a U.S.-based plan. Virtual dedicated servers are now available.

Is there a difference in the European plans vs. the US plans?

Managed Hosting, Assisted Service Plans, and Managed Backups are not available in the European data center. Other than that, the only difference between the plans is the location. For European-based businesses, you will see greater speed and performance when your hosting account is physically closer.
