Before you incorporate your business, you will need to make some decisions and have information ready to fill out your Incorporation Services application. Be sure you've considered all of these issues first:

  • A business name: Choose a name for your business. You may want to have a back-up name in case your preferred one is taken.
  • Type of business: Decide whether you want to register your business as a corporation or an LLC (Limited Liability Company).
  • A state: Decide where you want to incorporate. You may decide to register in one state, and file as a foreign business in others.
  • An EIN: Many businesses already have Employer Identification Numbers. If you do not, Incorporation Services can help you get one.
  • A Registered Agent: Incorporation Services will act as your Registered Agent if you wish.
  • Basic business data: Incorporation Services needs your name, address and contact information, as well as contact information for your business, to process your application.
