The Domain Name Aftermarket (TDNAM) facilitates the transaction between you and the buyer. When you accepted the buyer’s offer for your domain, TDNAM automatically contacted the successful bidder and requested him/her to send us the payment for the purchase of the domain. Once TDNAM verifies receipt of the buyer’s funds, we will contact you and instruct you on how to complete the transaction. If you receive a transfer request directly from the buyer and want to verify that the proceeds have been sent, please contact TDNAM at (480) 505-8892.

Depending on whether the buyer has an account with us or with another registrar, you will either transfer the domain or complete a change of account. For more information about transferring or changing accounts, see Understanding the Difference Between Transferring Domains and Changing Domain Ownership.

For transferring the domain, you must wait for the buyer to initiate the transfer with the buyer's registrar. The registrar or buyer will contact you for further instructions.

For more information about completing a change of account, see Changing the Registrant Account for a Domain Name.
