Managing Your Business Registration Profile

Business Registration provides a customized listing in the Whois database for your domain name. It includes your business name, logo, up to four Web links, phone number, address, operating hours, directions to your store — there's even space for coupons!

You can edit your Business Registrations through the Business Manager using these instructions.

To Set Up or Edit Your Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products panel, click Business Registration.
  3. Click Manage Account for the account you want to modify. The Business Manager opens.

Enter or edit your information on the Business Info, Contact, Edit Map, Categories, Extras, and Finish tabs. When you're finished on each tab, click Next. After completing all desired fields on the Finish tab, click Finish to save your changes.

TIP: Click Back to return to the previous tab.

Business Info

Enter information about your business on this tab. The required fields on the tab are Business name and Description.

Uplod a custom logo image file by clicking in the logo area and browsing for the desired file.

Contact

This tab contains fields for a contact person from your business. There are no required fields on this tab.

Activating the Show map on my Whois page adds a local map with your business location indicated to your listing in the Whois database.

Edit Map

Verify the location of your business on our online map. If it's inaccurate, click the correct location on the map to reset the marker.

Categories

Choose the categories relevant to your business. You may select multiple categories.

To Add a Category

  1. Click Add Category.
  2. Select the category and subcategory of your business, and then click Ok.

To Delete a Category

  1. Select the unwanted category.
  2. Click Delete

Extras

You can upload your own image files and add custom URL links to your listing in the Whois database.

To Upload Image Files

  1. Click Click here to upload picture.
  2. Click Browse and navigate to the appropriate image.
  3. Click Open, and then click Ok.
  4. Enter a picture description.

To Add Links to Your Listing in the Whois Database

  1. Click Related links.
  2. Enter your links and descriptions.
