If you purchased your domain name after Jan. 14, 2011, you cannot set up a free hosting account. Instead, see Walkthrough: Setting Up InstantPage for the First Time.

You cannot remove the ads from your website if you are using a free hosting account. For ad-free hosting, you must upgrade your account. For more information, see Upgrading or Downgrading Your Hosting Account.

To Set up Your Free Ad-supported Hosting Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the account you want to use, click Set Up. Select the credit's type and domain name you want to use, and then click Set Up.
  4. Next to the account you want to use, click Launch.
  5. Complete the following fields, and then click Finish:
    • Enter domain — Enter the domain name you want to use.
