Why are some bids in the bid history window of a Signature Auction out of order?

Sealed bids are only placed once, but our Proxy Bidding Service automatically raises bids, according to the bid amount and bid increment. When the Proxy Bidding Service places another bid, the bid displays the time at which the original sealed bid was placed.
