Connecting Your Quick Blogcast Account to Your Facebook Profile

If you are a Quick Blogcast customer and have a Facebook account, you can connect your blog to your Facebook account. In this way, you can display your blog entries on your Facebook page, making it easier for your Facebook friends to follow your latest news, photos, and videos.
NOTE: When you set up your Quick Blogcast account, we send a user name and password to the email address you provided. While you can update this information at anytime, you must know your current Quick Blogcast author password to authenticate your account in Facebook.
To Connect Your Quick Blogcast Account to Your Facebook Profile
- Log in to your Facebook Account.
- Click Applications, and search for Quick Blogcast.
- Click the Quick Blogcast icon.
- Click Add Application.
- Select the settings you want to allow Quick Blogcast to perform.
- Know who I am and access my information
- Allows Quick Blogcast to remember your Facebook profile settings.
- Put a box in my profile
- Adds a link in your Facebook Profile back to your Quick Blogcast.
- Place a link in my left-hand navigation
- Places a link to Quick Blogcast in your left navigation bar.
- Publish stories in my News Feed and Mini-Feed
- Publishes updates to your blogcast in your Facebook News Feed and Mini-Feed.
- Place a link below the profile picture on any profile
- Places a link to your blog below your profile picture.
- Send me notifications via email
- Allows Facebook to send emails notifying you that a comment or change has been made on your Quick Blog.
- Click Add Quick Blogcast. A login screen displays.
- Log in to Quick Blogcast.
- Select the settings you want to allow Quick Blogcast to perform.
- Blog
- Select the blog you would like to connect to this Facebook account.
- Number of entries
- Select how many entries to display per page (you can select 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10).
- Links to entries
- Select whether, when a reader clicks an entry link, your blog entries display on Facebook or the reader is directed to your blog.
- Comment direction
- Select whether comments show in Ascending (oldest-to-newest) or Descending (newest-to-oldest) order.
- Entry display
- Select whether you want blog entries to display as the title only, as the title and excerpt (if available), or as the full blog entry.
- Visibility
- Select whether your blog entries will be visible to any visitor to your blog or only to your Facebook Friends.
- Show Domain Center
- Select whether or not to display the Domain Center. For more information on this setting, see What is the Facebook Domain Center?
- Click Save Settings.
Your Quick Blogcast account is connected to your Facebook profile. New blog entries now display on your Facebook page.
