If you cannot remember the root password for your dedicated server, we will need to reset it for you. Due to the nature of the task, this will incur a small fee.If this is acceptable, create a Trouble Ticket from within the Dedicated Hosting Manager and include the following:

  1. Acceptance of the $25 password reset fee.
  2. The last four digits of a credit card on file on your account that you wish to use for the fee.
  3. You will need to use the password sync feature in the dedicated hosting manager to specify what you wish the password to be reset to.

To Sync your Password

  1. Log into your Account Manager.
  2. Under the My Products section, select Servers.
  3. Click Launch Manager next to the server account that you would like to manage. The Dedicated Hosting Manager opens in a new window.
  4. Under Support, select Sync Password.
  5. Enter the password you wish for us to reset to.
