How do I configure Smarthost on my Windows server using Internet Information Services(IIS) SMTP?

To configure Smarthost on your windows server using IIS SMTP:

  1. Log in to your Windows Server Remote Desktop as "administrator"
  2. Click on Start.
  3. From the Administrative Tools menu, select Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  4. In the IIS Manager window, right-click on the Default SMTP Virtual Server and select Properties.
  5. Select the Delivery tab and click on Advanced.
  6. In the Smart Host field, type yourmailserver.secureserver.net where yourmailserver is the mail server listed in the Hosting Control Center. For more information, see What are the relay mail server settings on my dedicated or virtual dedicated server?.
  7. Click OK and close IIS.
