Upgrade/Downgrade The Processor On a Dedicated Server

Our base plan includes an Intel® Celeron 2.0GHz processor. Celeron CPU power may be upgraded by choosing an Intel® Pentium 4 3.0GHz processor. Additionally, you may upgrade Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz processors to Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz.
Increase or Decrease the Processor on a Dedicated Server
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- From the My Products section, select Servers.
- Click on the appropriate server account name. The right pane should refresh.
- Expand Other Add-ons and scroll down to the value you wish to modify: Processor.
- Select from the available processor options.
- Click Continue to proceed to the checkout process.
Please allow for downtime (up to one hour) during which the requested hardware change will be completed. We will send you an email notice with further instructions on scheduling maintenance.
