Configuring External Web Access on Your Windows Server

Configuring your Windows® server for External Web Access lets you browse the Internet from your server like you would with a traditional PC.
The information you use to configure External Web Access depends on your server's settings.
To Locate Your Server's Settings for Configuring External Web Access
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Servers.
- Next to the server you want to use, click Launch.
- From the Account Summary section, note your SMTP Service Server Name and Server IP Address.
- Use your SMTP Service Server Name and Server IP Address to find the DNS information in the table below. You need this information to configure External Web Access.

To Configure External Web Access
- From the Start Menu, select Control Panel, and then double-click the Network Connections icon.
- In the Network Connections window, right-click the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties.
- Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) once to select it, and then click the Properties button.
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses, and then enter the Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS IP addresses you found in the table.
