To cancel Protected Registration for your domain name, you must submit a request form. Turning off auto-renewal for Protected Registration doesn't cancel it. See the section below that applies to your situation.
To Cancel Protected Registration After the First 5 Days of Original Purchase
If you purchased Protected Registration more than 5 days ago, you must complete the following:
Submit a Request to Cancel Protected Registration. If you need further assistance, contact protectedreg@godaddy.com .
To Cancel Protected Registration Within the First 5 Days of Original Purchase
If it is within the first five days (120 hours) of initial registration, contact technical support to cancel both your domain name and its Protected Registration.
