Creating a Mobile Version of Your Web Site
Expand the visibility of your website by creating a mobile version that allows visitors to easily view it on their mobile devices. NOTE: Some website content cannot be converted to a mobile site, including Flash, JavaScript, forms, image maps, and SSL. If your site has advertisements, they may not display. To test your website before creating a mobile version, preview it through the Domain Manager.
To Create a Mobile Version of Your website
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
- Click the .mobi domain you want to use for your mobile site.
- Click the Create Mobile website hyperlink.
- Select Instant Mobilizer from dotMobi.
- In the Domain name of existing website field, enter the domain you want to convert.
- To preview the domain, click Preview.
- If you read and agree to the terms of service, select I have read and agree to....
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
It takes up to 48 hours for your changes to display.
