In the Domain Manager, you can set your domain names to renew automatically, or you can renew them manually.

You can also set your domain names to maintain specific registration lengths with Extended Auto-Renew. For more information, see What is Extended Auto-Renew?

To Renew Your Domain Names

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Launch.
  3. Select the domain name(s) you want to renew.
  4. From the Renew menu, select Renew Domain.
  5. From Renewal length, select the length of time for the renewal.
  6. In the Renewal setting section, select one of the following:
    • Auto-Renew — We automatically renew your domain name(s) upon expiration.
    • Extended Auto-Renew — Select the Registration length you want to maintain for your domain name(s). We will automatically renew them for one year on a yearly basis, so you consistently maintain that extended registration length.

NOTE: Some domain name extensions do not allow this option.

    • Manual — You must manually renew your domain name(s) prior to their expiration dates.
  7. (Optional) If the ConsoliDate option displays and you want to consolidate your renewal dates, select ConsoliDate the renewal date....
  8. Click Next.
  9. If you are consolidating renewal dates, select the month and day you want your domain names to renew, select I agree to the terms... to agree to the terms of consolidation, and then click Next.
  10. Select any options you want to add, and then click Next.
  11. If you added Domains By Proxy® private registration, select whether you want to use a new or existing account, and then complete the required fields. For more information about adding privacy, see Adding Private Registration to Your Domain Names.
  12. If you want to add related domain names to your order, select Yes!, and then click Next.
  13. Click OK.

NOTE:If you selected Extended Auto-Renew with a registration length that is longer your current one, proceed through the checkout process. For example, if your domain name currently has one year of registration left and you selected Extended Auto-Renew with a registration length of five years, you must purchase the additional four years at this time. Then, on a yearly basis, we will automatically renew the domain name for one year to maintain the five-year registration length you selected.
