ASP.NET Framework Compatibility and Quick-Install Applications

If the value application you install on your Windows hosting account is incompatible with a specific version of the ASP.NET runtime, you should change your runtime version.

NOTE: If you revert to an older version of the ASP.NET runtime, website code running under a newer version may break.

To Change the ASP.NET Runtime on Your Windows Hosting Account

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the Deluxe, Premium, or Unlimited hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Add On Languages icon.
5. Under the Activate/Deactivate Languages section, select the appropriate ASP Version.
6. Click Continue, and then click Update.
