Changing Your ASP.NET Version on Windows Hosting

You can change your Windows-based hosting account's ASP.NET version between 1.1, 2.0/3.0/3.5, or 4.0.

Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.

To Change Your Hosting Account's ASP.NET Version

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Programming Languages icon.
5. Select ASP 1.1, ASP 2.0/3.0/3.5, or ASP 4.0.

   NOTE: Only 4GH accounts can use ASP 4.0. To see if you use a 4GH account, click here.

6. Click Continue.
7. Click Update.
