When you add a domain name to CashParking® or Quick Content, we automatically update the nameservers if it is registered here. If you set up Workspace Email for a domain name and then add it to CashParking® or Quick Content, your email stops working. Here's why: The CashParking and Quick Content nameservers do not use your existing zone file for the domain name, which contains the email subdomain that accesses Workspace Email.

If you want to use Workspace Email with a domain name in CashParking or Quick Content, we suggest that you manually add the domain name to CashParking or Quick Content. For more information, see Adding Domain Names to Your CashParking Account.

After you manually add the domain name to CashParking or Quick Content, use the instructions below to point it to the default parked nameservers. Then, in your domain name's zone file, point the @ A record to the CashParking or Quick Content nameservers.

To Use Workspace Email with CashParking Domain Names

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Launch.
  3. Select the domain name you want to edit.
  4. From the Nameservers list, select Set Nameservers.
  5. Select I want to park my domains, and then click OK twice.
  6. From the Tools menu, select DNS Manager.
  7. For the domain name with the A record you want to edit, click Edit Zone. The Zone File Editor displays.
  8. In the A (Host) section, click the @ record.
  9. In the Point to field, do one of the following:
    • For a CashParking domain name, type 68.178.232.143.
    • For a Quick Content domain name, type 208.109.78.40.
  10. Click Save Zone File, and then click OK. After the DNS propagates, you can use Web-Based Email for the domain name.
