Publishing Your Site with Fetch

Use the following steps to publish your website using the Fetch FTP client on a Macintosh computer.

Connecting to and publishing your site with Fetch

  1. From the File menu, select New Connection.
  2. Enter the Hostname (your domain name), Username and Password and click Connect.
  3. Once connected, select Put... from the Remote menu.
  4. Select the location of the file(s) to upload then click Put.

Note: To check the permissions of a file, highlight it and click Get Info.
