Can I use third-party Java packages?

Yes. You can install any version of any Java package.
The following are installed on all Java-enabled accounts:
- jdom.jar
- dom.jar
- mysql-connector-j.jar
- mailapi.jar
- smtp.jar
- activation.jar
You can add extra jar files in the /WEB-INF/lib/ folder, or you can package .jar files into a .war file.
NOTE: All hosting accounts purchased after 7/11/2011 do not support Java. Existing accounts with Java enabled are not affected by this update — unless you manually disable Java. Once disabled, there you cannot re-enable Java.
