When a hosting account using Real Time Stats adds an alias domain, the resulting directory structure may affect the Page Requests and Visitor Paths reports. If the alias domain root is a subdirectory of the primary domain and both directories contain a file of the same name, aliasing prevents the browser from distinguishing between the pages. This results in the aggregation of page requests data.

For example, one visit each to the URLs below will be recorded as two visits to /index.html:

http://www.coolexample.com/index.html
http://www.aliascoolexample.com/alias/index.html
