You can set up separate Site Analytics Accounts for each subdomain and non-primary domain you have hosted with us. This means you can track your subdomain or non-primary domain site separately from the primary account it is under. However, this feature has certain requirements in order to function. For more information, see Requirements for Adding Site Analytics to a Subdomain or Non-Primary Hosted Domain.

NOTE: If the primary domain is not affiliated with a Site Analytics account, your non-primary or subdomains can only use Site Analytics through real-time stats. For information about configuring real-time stats, see article Enabling Real Time Stats in Site Analytics.

To Add Site Analytics to your Subdomain or Non-Primary Hosted Domain

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Site Analytics.
  3. Next to the account you want to use, click Setup.
  4. Note: To purchase additional Site Analytics accounts, in the Launch section, click Click here to purchase a Site Analytics Account.

  5. Enter the following information to create your account:
    • Account Name — Create an account name that is easy to remember.
    • User Name — Create a user name to use for logging in.
    • Password — Create a strong password that has lower and uppercase letters, a symbol, and a number.
    • Email — Enter an address where you would like to receive information about this account.
  6. Click OK to setup your Site Analytics account.
  7. Click Add Site.
  8. Select the subdomain or non-primary hosted domain to associate with this Site Analytics account.
  9. Click OK.
  10. To use real-time reporting, select Enable real-time stats, and then agree to the requirements. For more information, see Enabling Real Time Stats in Site Analytics
  11. Click OK.

Your Site Analytics account is now set up. If you enabled real-time stats, information for your site may be available in less than an hour. However, if real-time stats are not enabled, it can take up to 24 hours before any statistical information for your site is recorded and available.

NOTE: To use real-time stats, you must add a JavaScript on each page of your site that you are tracking. To learn how to obtain the JavaScript code for your site, see Adding Real-Time JavaScript to Your Site.
