Setting up Your Free Quick Blogcast Account

If you purchased your domain name after Jan. 14, 2011, you cannot set up a free Quick Blogcast® account. Instead, see Walkthrough: Setting Up InstantPage for the First Time.

Your free version of Quick Blogcast lets you create a blogcast site of your own. You are welcome to upgrade to a paid Quick Blogcast account at any time.

The paid version of Quick Blogcast does not include advertisements and allows you to:

  • Add multiple authors for posting on your blog.
  • Add Custom HTML and Google® Ads to your sidebar.
  • Use more storage and bandwidth.

To Set Up a Free Quick Blogcast Account

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Free Products.
  3. In the Free Product Offers section, click Quick Blogcast Accounts.
  4. Click Use Credit.
  5. In the Setup Free Account area, select a domain name from the list.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click the Setup Account hyperlink.
  8. Read the End User License Agreement, and if you accept the terms, click Accept.
  9. Click Start Now.
  10. Complete the fields as indicated.
