Setting up Third-Party Clients

If you enabled Remote Blogging, the next step is to set up your third-party client to work with your Quick Blogcast® account. For more information about setting up Remote Blogging, see Setting Quick Blogcast Remote Blogging Options.

You need the following information to set up your third-party client:

  • API — MetaWeblog
  • URL — http://coolexample.com/MetaWeblog.aspx, where "coolexample.com" is your domain name.
  • Port — 80
  • HTTPS — No
  • Username — For blog owners, enter the user name you created when you set up Remote Blogging. For authors other than the blog owner, use your regular username, which is the username you use to log in to Quick Blogcast.
  • Password — For blog owners, enter the password you created when you set up Remote Blogging. For authors other than the blog owner, use your regular password, which is the password you use to log into Quick Blog.
