Inserting Scrolling Marquees and Hit Counters

With WebSite Tonight, you can add a scrolling marquee and hit counter. The scrolling marquee has limit of 255 characters.

To Insert a Scrolling Marquee

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
  3. If necessary, select the page you want to edit.
  4. Click the block you want to edit. Blocks are outlined in blue.
  5. Position your cursor where you want to add the scrolling marquee.
  6. Go to the Insert tab.
  7. Move your mouse over Widgets, then select Scrolling marquee.
  8. In the Marquee Text field, type the text you want to use.
  9. From the Font Name and Font Size lists, select the font and font size you want to use.
  10. From the Direction list, select the direction in which you want the marquee to move.
  11. From the Alignment list, select an option for aligning the marquee horizontally.
  12. From the Speed list, select an option for how quickly you want the marquee to scroll.
  13. Click OK.

To Insert a Hit Counter

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
  3. If necessary, select the page you want to edit.
  4. Click the block you want to edit. Blocks are outlined in blue.
  5. Position your cursor where you want to add the hit counter.
  6. Go to the Widgets tab.
  7. Move your mouse over Extras, then select Hit Counter.
  8. Select the hit counter style you want to use.
  9. In the Enter a starting value field, type the number you want the counter to start at.
  10. Click OK.
