Changing Background Images

You can modify the default images the template uses. Replace images with one of the over 8,000 images that WebSite Tonight includes or upload your own.

NOTE: By default, changing a template image changes the image on all your site's pages. Some templates allow users with Deluxe or Premium WebSite Tonight plans to change the image on the selected page only. To upgrade your plan, see Upgrading Your WebSite Tonight Plan.

To Change Template Images

  1. Log in to your WebSite Tonight account.
  2. From the Design menu, click Page Designer .
  3. If necessary, from the Page list, select the page you want to edit.
  4. Go to the Page tab, and then click Change Background Image.
  5. Click the image you want to change.
  6. Click Change Image to display the Image Library. For information about using the Image library, see Using the Image Library.
  7. Select the image you want to add.
  8. Click OK.
  9. From the Select Size list, select one of the following:
    • To allow the image to exceed the allocated area, select Size to Exceed.
    • To tile the image across the allocated area, select Tile Image.
    • To stretch the image to fit into the allocated area, select Stretch to Fit.
  10. (Optional) To apply the change to the current page only, click Apply changes to this page only.
  11. Click OK.
