Moving Sold Domain Names
Go Daddy Auctions® facilitates the transaction between you and the buyer. When you accepted the buyer’s offer for your domain name, Go Daddy Auctions automatically contacted the successful bidder and requested him/her to send us the payment for the purchase of the domain name. After Go Daddy Auctions verifies receipt of the buyer’s funds, we contact you with instructions for completing the transaction. If you receive a transfer request directly from the buyer and want to verify that he/she sent the proceeds, contact Go Daddy Auctions at (480) 505-8892.
Depending on whether the buyer has an account with us or with another registrar, you will either transfer the domain name or complete a change of account. For more information about transferring or changing accounts, see Domain Name Transfers vs. Account Changes.
For transferring the domain name, you must wait for the buyer to initiate the transfer with the buyer's registrar. The registrar or buyer will contact you for further instructions.
