Marketing Source Codes show the origins of traffic to your site and purchases made on your turnkey Reseller storefront.

Once you have created your own Marketing Source Codes, you can use them in advertising campaigns. They help you to determine when a customer clicks on an advertisement and if that click resulted in a sale.

Marketing Source Codes are used by adding the code to the end of your storefront URL as the query string parameter "isc."

For example, if the desired Marketing Source Code is "code1":

Storefront URL:

https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=XXXXX

Storefront URL with Marketing Source Code:

https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=XXXXX&isc=code1

You can also send customers directly to a specific product page within your store when they follow a link or click on a banner. You simply link directly to the desired page and add the query string parameter the same as above. For example, you want to send a customer directly to the SSL sale page within your store using Marketing Source Code "code1." The URL would be:

https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/ssl/ssl.asp?prog_id=XXXXX&isc=code1

Creating multiple codes allows you to know which advertisements are most effective. For example, if you create two ads for promoting SSLs and use two separate Marketing Source Codes, you will be able to determine if a red ad advertisement is more or less effective than a blue advertisement. You can create multiple campaigns to test variables like what pictures, text or placements are more effective, helping you to make your advertising campaigns more efficient.
