Editing Events

Through Web-Based Email's calendar feature, you can edit events or reset their assigned fields.

The following sections show you how to edit events in different versions of Web-Based Email.

Email Legacy Version

To Edit an Event

  1. Click Calendar.
  2. Locate and click the event you want to edit.
  3. In the Edit Event window, edit the event or, to reset the fields on the event, click Reset.
  4. Click Save.

Email Version 5.0

To Edit an Event

  1. Go to the Calendar tab.
  2. If necessary, expand your list of calendars by clicking Calendars.
  3. If necessary, enable the calendar that contains the event you want to edit by clicking the disabled calendar name. Disabled calendars display as a red icon.
  4. Click the event you want to edit.
  5. Click Edit Event.
  6. Use the fields and lists on the tabs to edit the event.For more information on completing the fields, see Scheduling Events Using All Fields and Lists.
  7. When finished, click OK.

    NOTE: If you changed the event time, the status for users who accepted the invitation changes to "Not Responded," and a new invitation is sent to those users. If other details of the event are changed, you are prompted to notify event attendees of the updates.

  8. Specify whether you want to notify attendees of the updated event.
