.ca domain names must be between 2 and 50 characters long. Domains can contain the hyphen symbol; however, you cannot use hyphens at the start or end of a domain name). The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) maintains a list of .ca domains that are not available for registration through the CIRA Registry.
