Enabling and Disabling a Cron Job

When you create a Cron Job, it is automatically enabled. However, you can disable and enable your saved Cron Jobs as often as you want. By disabling a Cron Job, you prevent it from running but save all its settings. In this way, you can enable the Cron Job at a later time without having to recreate it.

To Disable a Cron Job

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Cron Job Manager icon. This action displays the Cron Job Manager screen.
  5. Highlight the Cron Job that you want to disable.
  6. Click the Disable icon.

The Cron Job is disabled.

To Enable a Cron Job

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the Cron Job Manager icon. This action displays the Cron Job Manager screen.
  5. Highlight the Cron Job that you want to enable.
  6. Click the Enable icon.

The Cron Job is enabled.
