Using Windows Mobile 5 with Hosted Exchange Email

Before installing Hosted Exchange email, make sure the Starfield certificate is installed on your Windows Mobile 5 phone. For more information about installing the Starfield certificate, see Installing the Starfield Certificate and Active Sync to Your Mobile Device.
Using Windows Mobile 5 with Hosted Exchange email
- Turn on your mobile device.
- From the Start menu, select Active Sync.
- Select the option to sync directly with the Hosted Exchange email Server.
- For your server address, enter "ex1.secureserver.net".
- "Select the checkbox that indicates you are using SSL.
- Click Next.
- Complete the fields following fields:
- Username — Enter your Account ID. Depending on the account is configured, this could be your email address.
- Password — Enter your Hosted Exchange email email password.

Domain — Type one of the following, based on your Hosted Exchange email version:
- Exchange 2007 — mail.ex1.secureserver.net
- Exchange 2010 — mail.ex2.secureserver.net
- Click Next.
- Select the items you want to sync.
- Click Finish.
- Click OK to indicate you want to enforce security policies on your device and continue to synchronize.
